About
Briannah Donolo, known professionally as Rêve, is a JUNO Award-winning singer, songwriter, and one of Canada’s most exciting emerging female pop acts. Born and raised in Montréal, Rêve’s earliest memories are flooded with city lights, pounding basslines, and buildings that stretch into the sky, a sensory feast that continues to shape her sound.

Since making her major label debut in 2021 with Universal Music Canada and Astralwerks, Rêve has carved out a unique space at the intersection of pop, dance, and profound lyricism. She describes her first experience going to see a DJ at “Velvet” in Montreal as a near-spiritual one, sparking her career-long devotion to dance music and the unifying quality it possesses.
Today, with over 200 million global streams on breakout hits such as “CTRL + ALT + DEL”, “Big Boom”, “Contemporary Love” and US Dance Radio #1 “Whitney”, her passion and understanding for club culture shine through in everything she touches.
Since going independent in late 2025, Rêve is getting ready to release her sophomore album Delusions of Grandeur, forecasted for 2027. Drawing from the giants who inspire her like Daft Punk, Justice, Stuart Price, Lady Gaga and Madonna, Delusions of Grandeur is a shimmering portal into a gritty, sweat drenched dance floor where self expression, delusion as a means of survival, and unapologetic raw truth rule all.
From topping charts and winning a JUNO Award to earning critical acclaim from major music outlets, Rêve has been setting a new standard for Canadian pop since her debut. With each release, she continues to push the boundaries of the genre while proudly championing her community on the global stage...and she’s just getting started.
