Located just 50 miles outside of Las Vegas, the Glass Desert was once full of promise. What started as an accident became a glamorous destination almost overnight; water in the middle of nowhere, beaches where there shouldn’t be any. Resorts went up fast, and soon came the crowds, boats on the water, parties on the shore, postcards to prove it. For a brief moment, it felt like the desert had been turned into something that could give Sin City a run for its money.

But no gold ever lasts... Now it’s a dystopian relic of what once was, home to eccentrics, dreamers, and the delusional.

In the heat of the Glass Desert, it’s hard to tell what’s a mirage and what’s reality. Out here, reality is just a figment of what you choose to believe in.
